Thomas Turnbull Managing Owner of the Wave signs to say that Thomas Benjamin Page served on board the ship Wave, 57 tons, as Master, from Hartlepool to Loftus Works in 1851. The Owners are Messrs Hunter & Turnbull.

He drowned at Sea on the 25th September 1851 off the Yorkshire Coast leaving his wife, Margaret, and 4 children viz 3 Boys under 12 Years of Age and One Girls under 14 Years of Age viz:
