The last Will and Testament of Thomas Bressey of 25 Beauvoir Terrace, Kingsland, County of Middlesex Gentleman I give and bequeath to my wife Mary Ann all my household furniture plate linen and effects that may be in and about the premises athe time of my decease for her sole use and benefit I also give and bequeath the mortgage on property to my wife Mary Ann at Sandwell Cote ……..and any other investment I may die possessed of for her sole use and absolute benefit any children are elsewhere provided for I appoint my wife Mary Ann sole Executrix as witness my hand this twenty seventh day of October one thousand eight hundred and forty nine and THOMAS BRESSEY Joseph Burrows, Jane Bristow Witnesses.
APPEARED PERSONALLY Joseph Burrows of Orial Cottage, Bonvoir Road, Kingsland in the County of Middlesex Gentleman and made oath that he is one of the subscribed witnesses to the last will and testament hereunto annexed of Thomas Bressey late of No 25 Beauvoir Terrace, Kingsland in the County of Middlesex Gentleman deceased bearing date the twenty seventh day of October one thousand eight hundred and forty nine he further made oath that on the twenty seventh day of October aforesaid the said testator duly executed his said will be signing his name at the foot of and thereof in the presence of this deponent and Jane Bristow the other witness thereto both of whom were present at the same time and this deponent and the said Jane Bristow thereupon attested and subscribed the said will in the presence of the said testator and of each other and this deponent having observed the words “to my wife Mary Ann” to be interlined between the sixth and seventh lines from the top of the said will further made oath that the said words were so interlined therein previous to the execution of the will aforesaid Joseph Burrows On the 11th day of May 1850 the said Joseph Burrow was duly proven to the truth hereof before me A Waddilove Su Present George H Brooks Nos Pub.
PROVED at London the 18th May 1850 before the Worshipful Janus Barker Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Mary Ann Bressey widow the relict the sole executrix to whom admon was granted been first sworn only to administer.
