(PROB 11/1710:267) IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN. This is the last Will and Testament of me Charles Smith of New Grove, Mile End, in the county of Middlesex, Agent. In the first place I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be fully paid and satisfied by my Executors hereinafter named as soon as may be after my decease I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife Ann Smith all the household furniture linen wine liquors china glass pictures prints place and implements of household furniture which may belong to me and be in my possession at the time of my decease for and during the time she remains my Widow I hereby nominate and appoint my sons Charles Smith and Robert Smith Executors of this my Will and I give and bequeath unto my said Executors all my monies debts of every description and securities for money together with every state matters and things not herein disposed of to former Capital for continuing and carrying on my business and I direct that after my decease they my said Executors shall carry on and conduct my business in the same way and manner as the same it was carried on under the direction of my said son Charles Smith and it is my Will and desire that my son Charles Smith shall continue to employ in the same business my son Samuel Robert Smith and my said son Robert Smith as they are now engaged and employed until they shall otherwise agree among themselves but in whatever way or manner the said business may be arranged carried on and conducted. I direct that my said Executors shall and from time to time after my decease pay or cause to be paid out of the profits of my said business unto my said wife Ann Smith the annual sum of three hundred pounds by quarterly payments and her receipt alone shall be a sufficient discharge for the same. I direct my Executors to pay to my said wife immediately after my decease the sum of one hundred pounds for her immediate use and I hereby direct that my said wife shall from time to time as and when shall receive the said quarterly payments of the aforesaid bequest of three hundred pounds to pay unto my daughter Elizabeth Smith at and after the rate of thirty pounds per annum for her sole and separate use and to be applied and disposed of as she my said daughter the annual sum of one hundred pounds by quarterly payments to and for her own sole and separate use during so long only as she shall remain sole and unmarried and immediately after the decease of my said wife I direct that all my household furniture linen wine liquers china glass pictures prints plate and implements of household furniture hereinbefore given to my said wife during her widowhood shall be sold by my said Executors and the proceeds thereof equally divided by them among all my children who shall be then living share and share alike and I hereby give to my said Executors the sum of twenty pounds each for their trouble in the execution of the provisions of this my Will hereby revoking all other Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declared this to be my last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I the said Charles Smith the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and twenty five. CHARLES SMITH Signed sealed published and declared the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in the presence and in the presence of each other have hereby subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto Geo Cooper and Ann Hawkings, New Grove Mile.

PROVED at London 22nd March 1826 before the Judge by the oaths of Charles Smith and Robert Smith the sons the Exors to whom Admon was granted being first given to with the said Charles Smith before the Worshipful Charles Coote and the son Robert Smith before the worshipful John Trouchars Pickard Dr Laws and Surrogates duly to Admr.
